The ADE5000® is a new range of lightweight, handheld metal detectors, suitable for tough environments, constant use and offers increasing sensitivity levels to meet specific customer applications. These are suitable for use by all security personnel in and at airports, prisons, exhibitions, conferences, high security buildings, hospitals, retail outlets, night clubs and any environments where personal metal detection is required. The ADE5000® has both visual, audio & vibrator alarms and incorporates linear detection technology enabling all metals, whether ferrous or non ferrous, to be detected.

Typical uses include body searches for offensive weapons in crowd control, airport and border security, checking parcels and letters for metal objects and anywhere that hidden metal needs to be detected.
